ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
SeeKing 7 is the rock n roll trio from "America's Hometown" Plymouth, Massachusetts. Stephie 'Peeka' the songwriter, on lead vocals & guitar, Jeff Armstrong on drums & vocals and Sean McLaughlin on bass.

All 11 songs on the debut cd, SeeKing 7 are highly energized. They range in dynamics and moods, often hitting you with a curveball when you least expect it. Each song stands on its own and with an honesty of cOnViCtIoN that explores love, longing, faith, belief, truth and a funky sea adventure.

The cd is now available on their independent label, RECOGNIZE RECORDS.
Recorded, mixed and mastered by noted engineer Joe Clapp of ULTRASOUND PRODUCTIONS May-September 2003. The cd features Jeff Armstrong on Drums and Stephie filling out all Guitar, Bass and Vocals. Released October 2003.

The band has been featured as "Artist of the Month" for April 2004 on PIXY 103 FM on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, website www.PIXY103.com on the "Homegrown" page. They co-hosted PIXY's "Homegrown" program live in-the-studio on April 25, 2004, which featured many songs off their cd, SeeKing 7 and interviews with Sean, Jeff and Stephie. The cd receives regular airplay on "Homegrown".

SeeKing 7 have steadily rocked the Boston club scene at T.T. THE BEARS, THE SKY BAR and O'BRIENS. They also played New York City at THE CONTINENTAL on May 17, 2004.
They have been playing in and around Boston since
February 13, 2003.

Sean, who not only is an amazingly tasteful bassist, worked as studio engineer at Track Record and Sea Sound in North Hollywood, CA and Valley Studios in Van Nuys, CA.
His melodic fat-bottomed bass grooves resonate of Jamerson, Deacon and McCartney.

Jeff whose drumming background ranges from an eclectic group of artists such as Elvin Jones, Bob Moses (studied with),and African tribal bushmen. He is a highly-honored graduate from Berklee School of Music in Boston. Jeff's grooves are delivered with a no-nonsense fury which resonates of John Bonham and Keith Moon intensity.

Stephie Peeka Borgatti is a songwriter out of the school of honesty, whose earliest composition influences began for her with Paul McCartney and John Lennon at the age of 9. A good foundation to say the least. She then grew with artists such as Queen,The Cars,RS,Prince and Bowie. Her biggest vocal influence is Freddie Mercury. As guitarist for SeeKing 7, her style has funky soundscapes mixed in a punk honesty.

SeeKing 7 live is ALIVE and unpredictable.

With exceptional engineer Joe Clapp from ULTRASOUND PRODUCTIONS on board, the music as one listener puts it, is rock n roll with a soul.

NO BULLSHITE ROCK N ROLL!

Wonderful CD! Great vocals backed by a smooth wall of guitars, bass and good, cr
This CD covers all the bases going from smooth ballad-type songs to the rousing-get-up-n-move rock and roll. Stephie has the perfect backing for her voice, the guitars are good but not over whelming. Same thing with the bass, good heavy throbbing that carries well from song to song. Drums are sharp and crisp, not wimpy. All in all, I can honestly say I'm glad to have found SeeKing7...great stuff and hope to see them put out another CD.
