ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"A TOTAL GUITARFEST!" -Glenn Suravech, Visiting Violette

"IF YOU LOVE GUITAR, YA GOTTA HEAR THIS!"- Kenji, LA

"TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH!" - Mom

From smooth Brazilian jazz to driving inyurface rock, SELAH CAFE delivers GUITAR, guitar & MORE GUITAR! No vocals. No keyboards. Just guitars, bass & drums, blending together, painting pictures of faith.

FAITH? This is a CHRISTIAN BAND!

St. Francis of Assisi once said to "Go forth & spread The Gospel, using words (only) if necessary".

Selah Cafe steps around the preachy-ness & lyrical barriers often found in "Christian music" to speak to the heart on a different level.

Listen to the heavy blues of "Shadow of The Cross", & feel the pain of a suffering Savior. Hear the joy of Creation in "And there was Light". Enjoy the Sonshine in "Del Sol". You can see the smiles in the music.

Everyone gets to put a lil'sumthin' in da mix too:
Aaron does the divebombin', hard rockin'pyrotechnics
Jeff lays down tha funky foundation on da bottom end
Guy jazzes up the drums for a sophisticated pocket
Jimi speaks in tones of blue.

Guest artist Eduardo adds a touch of Brazil on a couple o' cuts for some unique 3 guitar harmonies you'll only find here.

Together, the blend is like the finest BBQ, every bite a little different, but ALWAYS SMOKIN'!

This is a limited quantity release, so ya better get this future collector's item NOW before they're all gone!

Good Vibe with a lot of soulful energy
The entire CD has a nice flow to it and the level of playing stays tight and well balanced. The musical contributions from each band member lends the kind of support that allows good music to become and develop into something more. Nice job and yes I do have the CD.

Good stuff
It is the album that their music is expressed very well. It sometimes has a face of jazz and has a face of a rock and has a face of fusion, and it is delicious, and it is fused. And I can look at the expression that they enjoy music heartily in that. Their music is right instrumental which is full of expression powers. I am charmed by the sound and it is healed.
