Biographical Sketch INSPIRATIONS

Simonia E. Milton

Simonia E. Milton, native New Orleanian, educated in the New Orleans public schools, graduate of Xavier and Loyola Universities /Louisiana, music teacher in the New Orleans Public School System for 30 years. Presently, vocal music teacher at New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (N.O.C.C.A.) academy. Vice president of ArSi Records, (an Arsimil-Jojasiton Ent.), and Co-chair of Miltco and Klangco Pub., Member of Faith Church, Pastor Michael and Charles Green.

Happily married for 38 years to Archie K. Milton, proud parents of three: John-Reuben, James A. and Simone L. Milton.

Inspired by God, she and her husband wrote and produced the album "Simonia E. Milton-Inspirations." which is an eclectic compilation of expressions in Gospel Music. Archie, Simonia, and their eldest son John-Reuben wrote all of the selections.

Archie, native New Orleanian, educated in New Orleans public and private schools is the previous Band Director of L.B. Landry, Phoenix High School (Plaquemines Parish), Marion Abramson High School, G.W. Carver Middle and, presently teaching in the elementary schools, Orleans Parish, local piano tuner, instrumentalist for some 40 years. He is the Executive Producer of the albums, President of ArSi Records, And board chair of Miltco and Klangco Publishing (ASCAP) (an Arsimil-Jojasiton Ent.)

Articles have been written in local periodicals to introduce the album: (Data, Lights, Gambit and the New Orleans Times Picayune). The album has played on local stations: WYLD 940 AM., WWOZ 90.7 FM, KKNO 750 AM, and WBOK 1230 AM).

They have performed at "The Praline Connection on (Gospel Night) 2/96 through 2/97, The Louisiana Jazz and Heritage Festival, The New Orleans Black Heritage Festival, The Youth Outreach and many others in the New Orleans Mississippi and Texas areas.

Of course we want you to hear our project and hope that you will sense the Anointing we sense while recording it.
