Album Notes
Sepulveda the movie is an independent feature film produced, directed and written by husband and wife team, Jena English and Brandon Wilson. It blurs the line between documentary and narrative. Centered around three young women who decide to take a a lazy Sunday to get to know their city better by taking a road trip down its longest street, Sepulveda Blvd. Just as the film is a tour through seldom if ever seen Southern California scenery, Sepulveda's filmmakers sought to reflect the musical diversity of Southern California as well. The soundtrack is filled with underground bands, rappers, and singer/songwriters mostly local to the L.A. area with one notable exception, Malinda LeBeau from Detroit, Michigan. The Soundtrack also features two songs from one of L.A.'s most notorious female rappers, Medusa.
