Album Notes
'Tous en accord', which translates from French as 'we all agree', is an album that brings together artists who may never have met or had occasion to collaborate if it weren't for the unique city that is Montreal.

Sergiu Popa, virtuoso accordion chameleon, invited some of the artists he has most enjoyed working with over the years on other projects, to take part by choosing songs or instrumental pieces close to their own cultural background. They then worked together to create new arrangements, infused with Sergiu's special touch and always with the accordion playing a vital role. The result is pure magic!

The tops
Congratulations to Sergiu, his wife Jessica and their collaborators on a superb album that exudes joyful energy and fun one minute and poignant tenderness the next. No shortage of the virtuosic accordion playing that we expect from Sergiu, but on this record he allows the singers to take centre-stage, along with other featured instrumentalists. And what great singers they are! Our entire household loves this record, good to listen to at any time, and definitely on long road trips. Bravo.
