Album Notes
Seven Against Thebes ( is the latest in a wave of fresh new rock music to emerge out of the Seattle Music scene. But to classify 7AT a late 90’s Grunge spin-off would be incorrect. No doubt bands like Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden and Tool have had their influences, but 7AT’s sound is not Grunge or Heavy Metal. The music of 7AT has been described as Progressive Rock or "a thinking man's music" with a strong emphasis on vocal melody. You will also notice hints of exotic instrumentation along the way from Sitar’s to unique percussive elements. This unique “East meets West” combination gives 7AT it’s unique signature sound..

Seven Against Thebes band members: Rusty Hoyle (vocals), Cyrus Rhodes (guitars), Bruce Burgess (drums), Mr. Black (bass).
