Album Notes
Seven Eleven blends jazz, funk and hip hop into a special style, with funk as the main ingredient. The band was founded in 1987 in Amsterdam. Through their performances in 1990 with Hip-Hop crew Dope Posse Seven Eleven was one of the first Dutch live acts with rappers on stage. With a superb horn-section added to the original line-up the band won the Camelpop Award in 1993. Since then Seven Eleven released eight albums and played at numerous venues and festivals in Europe, including three times at the renowned North Sea Jazz Festival.
