ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Sewage releases this collection of tracks recorded during the Post Release Supervision times leading up to the band readying itself to go on tour. Sewage Hi-Def a song about overcoming obstacles and destructive environments starts off the album with the song Better Days, a ska like song following about the times of Economic Recession which the Western world endure. Rock-n-Roll Revolution, the third song on the album is a punk rock version of a doo wop progression, yet has the punk rock rebellious message of overthrowing the boring music that the masses claim as their own....pop. Florida, the fourth song on the album is a 1,4,5 progression sung melodically yet sarcasticly about how the vacation escape resort of Florida has it's dark side as well as the positive side; just like life itself, good and bad. What Happened to the Punk Rock has the progression similar to a song that Sid Viscious covered, but is all about the decline of NYC's music scene as a result of the former oppressive leaders of NYC who teamed up with Real Estate to close down the fun side of the city with GENTRIFICATION. Manannan Mac Lir is a song about the ancient Irish god of the sea between Ireland and Scotland and the great beneficient magics of life in that area which one can experience anywhere should they just let go and remember that life can be good....if we allow it to be so! Crusties , a song in a fast moving aggressive hardcore punk style, remembers the transplants to NYC who became an underground clique thinking that they were elite and forgot that they need to take a bath! Not only did their pc attitudes become nazi-like and stink, they stunk physically too! Always remember your roots, if it wasn't for punk rock nothing else could exist. Unity is better than hostility....Crusties reminds us all to stand together rather than apart and that being dirty isn't rebelling against society, it just makes one stink to everyone! Free is a song about Post Release Supervision as well as jealous people of the inner circle manipulating that situation difficult by throwing obstacles in the way of progress. OVERCOME!!! Punk Rock Party is an online radio show formerly hosted by Chris Cable out in Brooklyn and our fun times performing as well as hosting shows there. Enjoy and see you at the next show.
