Album Notes
In 2014, Iwona Gapinska, Shamsan was discovered by Nautilus Records, an independent record label located in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts. Shamsan is a Polish Christian, Inspirational and Vegan songwriter, singer, performer, actress and fashion designer.
Shamsan says:
"I make very conscious choices regarding my repertoire, so I believe in the sense and the value of my work. I choose my music to bring hope, to bring a good, profound and sacred feeling of love, to bring inspiration, consolation and peace, choosing the respectful and dignified form of the performance, recalling my Heavenly experiences, with Angels and Christ in a deep state of mind that happen when we are near dying. Many of my compositions I hear for the first time when sleeping, so I wake up to record the melodies in a hurry in my phone recorder and, later work on them, with my keyboards and vocals.
I am open to promotional opportunities in the music industry where I can give the respectful, moral and dignified show. My repertoire choice is very conscious.
The consoling, soothing, spiritual, uplifting, also very dynamic and strong but in an innocent and a graceful way, these kinds of composition are the only sort of music that makes sense to me, to compose it, to sing and share.
I hope this short and brief profile will help my audience to understand what's the whole message, what's the character of my music and presentations and, what you may expect from me.
I won't try to please the audience with any accidental selection of songs that comes to the pulpit, but I will always choose very consciously my songs, to bring them into a spiritual set of positive and good feelings, emotions, and impressions, send always a message of love, hope, compassion, joy and peace.
To me, personally, that's the most important message of any performances. I hope that my followers will find this information helpful.
