ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Nightwalker" by Shane McKeever is a depiction of the world seen through the eyes of an innocent passerby. The title track and overall concept of the album was inspired by an article written by author New York Times writer Brent Staples entitled "Black Men and Public Space." The album depicts a wide variety of emotion. Songs like "Sunny Days", "My Enchanted Love" and "Heart of a Child" are nice and bright feel good tunes. Songs like "Home Invasion", "Heartbreaker", "Overdose", and "Motor City Blues" showcases a darker, sadder vision of America today. The jazzy tones of "Red Light District" create a more sensual atmosphere exploring the sexual side of life. "Dorian's Law" was written in tribute to the memory of a good friend. And songs like "Windows" and "Waiting on Heaven's Call" gives the album a spiritual feeling that's inspirational and uplifting. And the title track captures the very essence of the album through the eyes of the nightwalker. So if you enjoy jazz, R&B, classical, funk; basically if you enjoy music, this album is for you.
