Shannon sings to the soul
I first heard Shannon McMahon online about 8 years ago. I was floored by her beautiful voice and sweet guitar. Since then, I have had the pleasure of watching and listening to her evolve in both delivery and creativity. This album, with it's full musical backup, does justice to what Shannon offers. She has no illusions about what we humans are capable of, she has experienced the best and the worst, and somehow manages to share that from a deep place within her that reaches out with her love to that deep place within us. Yet she does this with no heaviness of spirit, but with a sometimes rueful, but always sweet, infectious smile in her magical voice.
