Album Notes
Shanti Bremer is a banjo player and songwriter from Victoria, B.C. and a founding member of acoustic roots trio, The Sweet Lowdown. In addition to playing bluegrass and clawhammer styles of the 5-string banjo, Shanti plays guitar and sings. Lights Low is her first solo recording, and demonstrates deep bluegrass and old time roots, while introducing several new tunes and songs. Bremer's love for the banjo is the reason behind Lights Low.
