Album Notes
Once upon a time, somewhere within the halls of a place called Berklee College of Music, pianist Eri Saito composed a beautiful song on piano called Inward Silence. Years later, after encountering multi-creative Shape Zed, the song resurfaced. Zed then created three original beats as its offspring, each unique, but bearing elements of the original mother sound. This family of sounds has been compiled by us, and named Shapes of Silence.

More than just a Hip-Hop Ep
This whole concept of this EP is so refreshing. The fact that the three beats can sound so unique even though they have samples from the same piano solo is cool enough, but being able to hear and recognize the samples in their original context is actually rewarding especially since the samples sound so different. This album as a whole works beautifully.
