ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
My name is Sharde Thomas. I am the granddaughter of Mr. Othar Turner. I started playin music at the age of 7 and I knew it was something I wanted to do. Started writing my own songs when I turned 13 years old. That is something I enjoy doing too. Seven years later I released my 1st album called "What Do I Do". This album is dedicated to the late Othar Turner and Bernice Turner. Once you listen to this album you will laugh, think about your life, and shed a few tears. I enjoyed writing and singing on this album and I hope you enjoy listening to it.

Wonderful cd! Love the fact that Sharde is keeping the African American fife and drum tradition alive. A tradition that was popularized by her grandfather Othar Turner. Smooth sexy and seductive! A beautiful album Shardee! thankyou

Amazing
Oh Sharde! I listened to all these previews and was just floored at how wonderful you sound. I actually could close my eyes and remember sitting with you on the hillside at the school listening to you sing when you were just a tiny thing! I was a fan then and certainly now. I am proud and I sure know Mr. Othar is! I know you miss him. What great days those were hanging out listening to him and you. I am buying a few cd's , of course one for me, and for a few people I know who will love love love this. It brought proud tears to my eyes and I know all you do in your life will be amazing. Keep it up girl, Mrs "Newman" is looking for more. :) Love ya!
