Sharon's music is country, folky, Americana, Canadiana, blusey, or rhythm and bluesy, and inspirational. She has been writing songs for almost 40 years, and you can see her offerings at her youtube site or websites under her full name Sharon Lenore Anderson. This song was her first recording on Bumstead/Homestead records out of Edmonton Alberta. Sister Ollie Anderson did the artwork; a real picture of Calahoo with the Calahoo General Trading store front where they lived, the original Quintal log house built by grandpa on the hilltop behind, the railroad tracks, mom and dad and aunty and uncle acting as the Calahoo (Beverly) Hillbillies for local parades and town fairs, and the kids playin around too. Thanks to Ollie Anderson for cover design, Larry Wanagas, Michael Shellard, Doug Beal, Andreas Schuld, Stuart MacDougall, Jim Walker, Joel Sacks, Rocko Vaugeois, Gordy Merrill, Louis Sedmak, and Bob Burghardt. Sharon went on to record for Capitol, Curb, Liberty and Royalty labels and has had seventy cuts on her songs. She wrote on music row in the late eighties and early nineties with hit writers like Chris Waters, Walt Aldridge, Jim Photoglo, Johnny Cymbal, Lucille Starr, Susan Jacks, Cris Bergsness, Lynn Langham, and many more. She had a top five song in Canada with "Give me a Ring Sometime" sung by Lisa Brokop, as well as charting top ten with her own recordings from her Bottom Line album. Her latest album is from 2010, called Life and Times. On the road she performed on stage with acts like Dan Seals, Tracy Lawrence, Jody Messina, Tom T Hall, Charlie Rich, and the Nitty Gritty Dirt band. She had sessions with Mark O'connor, Paul Franklin, Pig Robbins, Norro Wilson, Jerry Crutchfield, the Judds, and many hit makers of the time in Nashville.
