Album Notes
Sharon (me) played lounges and bars as a single and with duos, trios and full bands (originals, r&b, folk, country, rock, swing, motown, bluegrass..) all along northwestern Canada before landing in Nashville, music row and Capitol, Curb,Liberty and Royalty record labels later into the 90's. I was a folkie at heart, and you can tell that with this; one of the early songs beautifully arranged by Andreas Schuld. He wouldn't want me to show this song, as it was done on a 4 track cassette recorder in his apartment in 83, and therefore doesn't convey all the mastering quality he possesses these days. But, please forgive me Andreas. It is a sweet song, and i think you did wonderfully! My daughter Emily was kind enough to do me the cover art, which i love. it is reminiscent of a time long gone, and very dear to me. Remembering how i was playing Whistler ski hill when i brought you this song down the mountain to your digs in Vancouver, and you played all the parts and brought it to life. Such great memories. Raina; inspired mainly by Stevie Nicks music.
Thanks for listening all you 2 or 3 folks out there that check out my tunes periodically ..heh.. Music tends to flow along through me and is my life blood, no matter what decade we are in..
Thanks so much to my daughter Emily Crowell for doing my artwork here
