ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Shattered is a Hard Rock band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Rise of Hypocrisy is their first full length album. However, the band has been rocking Pittsburgh and the Tri-State area for the past 8 years. They are a melodic, but heavy modern rock band whose music is heavily influenced by many early 90's grunge rock bands like Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against the Machine, and Pearl Jam. They are also very heavily influenced by bands like Tool, Sevendust, and Pantera. Some of their more recent influences include Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin, Hurt, Cold, Evans Blue, Ten Years, Staind, Godsmack, and Alterbridge.
The album "Rise of Hypocrisy" is a diverse hard rock album with a broad array of songs ranging from heavy and hard hitting to flowing melodies.
