Album Notes
Mighty Gates is a mixture of my originals, and some all time favorite tunes, I had some great co-writers that I got a chance to work with on this: Chris Anderson, (The Outlaws, Blackhawk) Marc-Alan Barnette, Kenne Cramer, (my guitar player, Dr. Hook, Bobby Bare) Doug Jones, Johnny Neel, (Allman Bros.) and Gary Nicholson. My own touring band is featured on the CD; Tom DelRossi: drums, John Marcus: bass (Tim McGraw), Kenne Cramer: guitar (Dr. Hook, Bobby Bare), Tommy Stillwell: guitar (The Beat Daddy's), Kevin McKendree: keys (Delbert McClinton, Brian Setzer, etc.) We recorded it at The Rock House in Franklin, TN, Kevin's studio and he also produced and mixed the CD, along with his son, Yates McKendree doing the engineering! The CD was mastered by Jim Loyd, and all the artwork and photos were done by Melissa DelRossi.
