Shawn Gallaway - Bio
Shawn Gallaway is a singer/songwriter, visual artist, author, ceremonial healer, workshop facilitator and Energy Worker. He has traveled throughout the world sharing his message of Healing Through the Arts, and branding Transformational Music, which is music with a purpose ⎯to awaken the collective heart of humanity to Love! His “I Choose Love” song and global movement continues to encircle the world over, igniting the hearts of people everywhere to consciously move with Love each day in their lives.,

As a workshop facilitator and a ceremonial healer, Shawn has assisted and blessed many over the years with his keen insight and his ability to bring a sense of humor to the healing process. He has also stepped into the role of a screenwriter, combining all his gifts into a multimedia theater production and film called “I Choose Love”. It chronicles the healing journey of eight brave men and women who, together, choose love and walk the path of the Heart, transforming their fears into love, in service to humanity and the earth. The film can best be described as a healing experience that can enlighten and inspire the masses into loving action in the world.

To date Shawn has six CDs, two DVDs and a screenplay to his credit. His “I Choose Love” book and CD follows the soul’s healing journey through pain, confusion and struggle to emerge into the freedom of self-awareness, purpose, compassion, joy, and connection. The book includes songs, stories, photographs and a series of original drawings that chronicle Shawn’s own journey back to peace. His visual art has also been shown in galleries through out the United States and abroad. Shawn’s “I Choose Love” DVD is a heart stirring music video with both images and Mary Beth Haubrich signing the song in American Sign Language. It includes interviews with Shawn, Mary Beth and a section teaching children how to sign the song.

Freedom Cries brings in Shawn’s gifts and expertise in men’s rites of passage and gender reconciliation work, specifically healing the masculine spirit and bringing balance to the internal masculine and feminine heart within each of us. “Livin’ Love – The Shift is On”, is a powerful album about moving into joy with gratitude and “Love Songs for the Soul”, an acoustic album, is a simple expression of purity and Divine Love. His Latest release “On The Way” features Keith Urban on two tracks and speaks to the playful heart and Unity consciousness. The DVD “Choice Point” is Shawn teaming up with Joy Gilfilen and Uniting Creatives, for a very intimate concert related to social change. He has also just completed a CD called “Inspired” featuring theme songs for organizations, authors, companies, healers and speakers who are creating loving changes in our word today.

Shawn has shared the stage with authors Gregg Braden, Bruce Lipton, Robert Holden, and with rock and pop masters Orleans & Friends. Shawn has also had the high honor of being present for the showing of his “I Choose Love” music video during the bestowing of the 2009 International Freedom Award by the National Civil Rights Museum to His Holiness the Dalai Lama. World and social change leaders like Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and activist Archbishop Emeritus Desmund Tutu have also embraced the song “I Choose Love”, reaffirming in their own mission its spirit and calling.

Shawn currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee USA and continues to tour and share his passion for healing through the arts and transformational music all over the world.

What A Gift!
For many years now I have listened and enjoyed Shawn's music. Although his music is not genre specific it has the ability to touch all hearts and souls across all genres. It is timeless and time renowned for touching the deepest parts of all of us yearning for just the right vibration to set us free from self-imposed beliefs and programming regardless of how they were embedded in our lives. All of his music does this. This stands true with his latest album, Freedom Cries - Restoring Sacred Manhood. When I received this CD I listened to it immediately. Then I played it a second time, that's when it vibrated so deeply I came to know what it was I missed the most throughout my life, at the age of 60. (Sad, we have to wait this many years to connect with the hidden heart) I had just gotten out of the shower while Freedom Cries played loudly and while I was standing naked in front of the world it hit me, hard. My heart cried, as I did and I knew, in that moment what it was I missed the most in my life. What I missed, was never getting to know my earthly father. I knew beyond the scripted pain that described him he was a good man. I knew in an instant he was with me and for the very first time I really got to feel him and what "he"
was really about. I knew my father wanted, as the first song says, To Be A Man and to show us, my brothers and myself, how to be real men. Regardless of the reasons he was not able to stand true with his heart the pain of not knowing was set free, as I cried out; I miss you father. I miss never getting to know you. I love you and thank you for being with me now. It is my intuition this is a pain millions of men experience, never really getting to know their own fathers. This CD, Freedom Cries will help men across all genres restore their Sacred Manhood. Imagine if you are a father knowing what it would be like to see your sons grow up with their Sacred Manhood in tact,
from the moment of birth. It starts with restoring our own Sacred Manhood. Thank you Shawn for tapping into the cries of the real men of this world, helping all men remember their Sacredness. Thank you for being a father to all the middle-aged men yearning to be a man. For the women considering purchasing this as a gift, I would HIGHLY recommend all women listen to this album, from your heart, then you will know the true heart of a man. That, along with the CD,will be one of the greatest gifts any man could receive. Yes Shawn, that is truly how I feel.
