In 2005 she traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland and in 2006 to St. Petersburg, Russia, where as a ONE spokesperson Moore urged world leaders to keep their promises to the world’s poorest people.

Moore was raised in Wheaton, IL. After graduating from Wheaton College she taught school in the inner city of Los Angeles. Upon returning home, Shayne completed a Master of Arts at Wheaton College Graduate School while starting a family and training as an ER Chaplain. Moore continues to live in her hometown with her husband and three children.

Shayne's music is inspired by her faith, her work in social justices causes such as the HIV/AIDS pandemic is sub-Saharan Africa and the atrocity of modern-day slavery. Believing we all can make a difference in the world, no matter who we are or where we are, Moore writes song to inspire change.

Moore knows the challenge of managing a home and the desire to make a difference for those who are suffering. As a full-time mother of three, she has journeyed from insular suburban world into the arena of global advocacy, writing books and making music. Using the power of story, Moore's music inspires people everywhere to start right where they are and make a difference.

The song, "Hungry World", was originally entitled "What Do You Say To A Hungry World", written by Shayne's mother, Dorothy Shufelt Klopfenstein. Dorothy recorded the song in 1976. The song was again recorded by Moore's grandfather, J. Stratton Shufelt, in 1982. Being the third generation to record Hungry World is an honor.

Shayne can be found on Amazon, Facebook at Shayne Moore and Refuse To Do Nothing pages and on Twitter @globalsoccermom.
