Album Notes
Sherrie Davis Morningstar, is a multi-cultural Indigenous flute artist. Sherrie inherited the gifts of her musical talents and inspirations, from her grandparents. Sherrie grew up in Pendleton, Oregon and works in the healing field as a specialized behavioral health therapist in Vancouver, Washington. Her multi-cultural heritage has influenced her musical style and helped her to create relaxing and beautiful sounds with her flutes.
Her musical inspiration started when she was a child and her flute music is composed of many different flutes, accompanied with nature sounds and tones to sooth, relax and inspire the listener. Most of Sherrie's songs are inspired by dreams and visions she has of her great-grandparents and ancestors who come to her dreams teaching her songs to compose and play.
This album is dedicated to her mother Sharron and in honor of her Native American Ancestors, who have supported her dreams and made this music possible by contributing their wisdom and traditions.
