Album Notes
Born from the encounter between Christophe Micou, guitar craftsman from the Cévennes and Québécois writer Éric McComber, Ship of Fools’ sternpost was put into ship building in november 2013 at Studio Bangratz in Sauve, Languedoc. Quartermaster Henri Di Cristo mixed the 13 songs of Sea of Rocks.

In its maple and plane tree hull, le Ship hauls a hundred and one chests of salted blues, eighty sacks of smoked rock, thirty-eight knotted ropes of gamey funk, sixteen gallons of marinated folk, eleven ounces of hard boiled country, seven sachets of hardrock powder and a vial of jazz spirit.

The vessel is currently circuiting the towns of Glen Zeppelin, Creedenceford, Leonardcohenstadt, Isle-of-Stones, Port-Beatles, Muddywatersmouth, L’île-de-Lanois, Thebandsville, Floydsburgh and Guthriewood.

A nice list of guests helped man Le Ship’s first mission. Ex Magma Richard Raux and ex-Bill Wyman’ Rhythm Kings’ Adrian Byron Burns top the list.
