Album Notes
This is the 3rd Shoe City Sound release by Dolores Paradise and DJ Julio. The style is always big harmonies and elaborate, but steady beats - lots of instrumentals and some vocals. Shoe City Sound's mission is to broadcast upbeat sounds to counter act the confusion and negativity in the world - sort of an antidote to change a disturbing atmosphere into a good one.

Some descriptions from reviewers:

"More than just the name of a recording label and studio, Shoe City Sound is the creative home of Dolores Paradise and DJ Julio. They started out as vanguard in the Boston New Wave scene in the 1980’s, and were recognized for having highlighted the more artful and atmospheric aspects of that genre. Citing influences such as Impressionism, Motown, Euro Pop, World, and modern Chill-Out/downtempo electronica they are ever inventive and seeking out new space. Dolores Paradise and DJ Julio are creating music for a new century, and a world without barriers. Sonically rich and relevant, this music reminds us that beauty and truth still exist in an era which sorely lacks both." Adrien Doherty - Harvard University, Cambridge MA

"We all need hope, Shoe City Sound and the hip sounds continue on and with the mellow vocal groove of Dolores Paradise"
Bryon Tossof - Independent Music People

"A relaxin' trip, groovy piano, percussion sonics..." Po(t) Pouri online radio station - Independent Music People
