Reviews :
“This South African band is more than just a clever name, they’re the freshest thing local rock has seen in a long time. The band has also succeeded in producing an unique spin on a genre that refuses to die out.”
Nikki Temkin - Sunday Times

“Tunnel Vision, a shimmering, melodious triumph…the best SA rock album of the year by a country mile.”
Matthew Freemantle – SL Magazine

"Eksteen Jacobsz' alternative opus (Stone the Crow) plays like a fantasy jamming session with the best musicians of the 90s."
Niel Bekker -

"Sounding like Guided By Voices fronted by Neil Young, The Sick-Leaves is an invigorating, Americana-tinged breath of fresh air. Glowing with energy and capable of delivering on all its promises, Stone The Crow is one of the more exhilarating releases of the year so far."
The Citizen - 13/10/2008

"It's a dusty, celestial sound - lunar vocals, purposefully grizzly production, fishbowl finishes. It's the finest garage style finish I've come across in Africa, actually."
Jess Henson - One Small Seed magazine (Mar 02, 2009).
