Album Notes
Top 5 "Women in Music" albums of the year - Collected Sounds.

"The songwriting (on A Comfortable Struggle) is first class, both lyrically and melodically. The tunes will stay with you long after the last song plays," says Amy Lotsberg, Producer of Collected Sounds.

Being together just over two years, playing more shows in that time frame then most, The Side Project has been branded as Adult Contemporary music.

Delving deep into the artful side of music, they incorporate mixed-media into their shows, featuring live paintings, photography, sculpture, cued video and silent films. Any one show may feature many collaborative artists and musicians.
The band is comprised of Susie Bradford as lead singer, Ben Bradford (suzie's husband) on bass and backup vocals, and Parker on piano. additional instrumentation on side project albums and shows may include Joe Varela on drums, Clint Burgess on guitar and Zoe Boysen on cello. as of 2004, the side project has also included 8 year old live performance painter Gabriella Barbieri.

A Comfortable Struggle, released in the summer of 2005, features Grammy Award Winning guitarist Eric Tingstad.

Why aren't these guys BIG?
This is music. Dynamic, melodic, rhythmic with great lyrics. First saw them live 2 years ago in Seattle. I wish they'd travel south to Southern Oregon!

This CD is brilliant.
A comfortable Stuggle is my favorite Cd by far, it never leaves my stereo. The vocals are absolutely breath taking and are supported by catchy, seductive piano melodies and popy drum beats. The ocasional chello parts add a nice, mello touch as well. Its hard to stick these guys into a genre since they cross over so many of them, which is what makes their music so good. I deffinately recomend that any one considering to buy this cd does it. You'll love it, it guarentee it.

A wonderfully pleasant evening of music
My wife and I had the pleasure of attending a live performance by this group. They performed top notch and left us wanting more. We bought both CD's of theirs and were delighted by their sheer talent. We saw them live at the Edgewater on 03-04-06 and are lucky to have stumbled upon them. Two thumbs up!!! Good luck in your future endeavors.

I love this band! Get famous so I can see u in concert!
I've been listening to this band since last year and I'm still hooked to the sweet melodies. I want to shout out to Suzie, the lead vocalist. She's amazing.
