Album Notes
Much like life, rock and roll is a road that has many ups, downs, and the occasional twisted wreck, which is something the members of Silvercade have grown to learn. In the summer of 2006 the band was born out of the ashes of their two previous bands, which had failed to produce the dreams that all had been working on for years in the music industry.

Although many successes were achieved during their 6 year run as a band, Joel Tymchuk (25), Andrew Tighe (25), and Trevor Cox (21) knew it was time for a change not only in the music they were playing, but in the direction as well. Moving on to heavier more challenging material and not holding back anything, they started recording in the studio without knowing who would sing on the new tracks. Fate would have it that a band in a city just down the road from the guys was in their dying throws, leaving Ryan Harris (24) without a band to front. Eager to start into another project that he could truly immerse himself in....

With a newfound energy and creative flow, the hard rock stylings of Silvercade are unparalleled in an industry that is crying out for someone to step up and bring rock back to it's roots; earth shattering drum beats, blazing guitars, explosive bass riffs and intense vocals are what this band is all about. Set to release their first full length album in the coming months, Silvercade promises to deliver something for everyone, from the intense to the sedate. One thing is for certain, if you're a fan of rock you will not want to go without this cd in your collection.

When its all wrong - this is what's right.
This album manages the rare feat of standing out in a genre that has too many bands churning too similar sounds these days. It’s original, memorable and delivers all that it promises – and then some. Lyrics that generate real emotion combined with music that compliments and cuts just as deep make this album – and as such, band – something to keep a close eye on. With so much wrong with the music industry, Silvercade represent just how right it can be.
