ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Simple Thoughts

Born out the mind of ill gods, Simple Thoughts was formed to reawaken hip-hop. Containing two members, Ponder and Thoughtsarizen as well as featured artists like Pragmatic, Lil' Heff and others, they come to you live from the hearts and minds of their alter egos.

Playing shows all over Southern California and rocking stages at places like The House Of Blues Anaheim, Old Baldy Upland, The Dropbass (los angeles), Aquadome Long Beach, and playing with hip-hops finest such as Awol One (shapeshifters), Light Headed, 2mex(OMD), LAUSD(Jurassic 5), Zman(Hiero), Nomadic Sound System, Freedom smugglers and others they continue to influence the crowd with their own blend of conscience hip hop and ill lyricism.

With a keen ear for style and a dash of creative genius Simple Thoughts puts forth a performance to be heard at least once by all. A pair of talented lyricist with some incredible freestyle skills these kids weave stories, metaphoric lessons, and even a few battle raps into music that will make you listen and explore your mind. This Hip-Hop group rocks a crowd of all types from underground heads to top 40 lovers and from lushes to designated drivers. Simple Thoughts serves consciousness to anybody in their presence.

Simple Thoughts were recently featured on the Globe Shoes DVD, and on websites such as Indiestreet and Discover Radio.
Also recently played as an indy pick of the week for Jan 7-14 05 on Divine forces radio (divineforcesradio.org) 90.7fm

good start..
imma say that i enjoyed listening to this but with out doubt with first listen you can define this as upstart. The beats in this are ridiculous and not in a good way i think the first 3 songs used pretty much the same base beat also its not professional its got a real basement band sound but if thats what your into then check it but if your up for smooth crystal clear delivery and beats that make you bounce this aint it but with more work this :will: be IT its only an ep so we'll see i say good start keep workin cause this here is potentionally excellent

The cd is good i especially like tracks Not Typical and another level, on my cd i got 2 songs not listed here, i guess there off the new project both sound way good!

some hip-hop makes u move this makes u think
This album is very deep. Glad i purchased, i heard these guys through the undercity production mixtape and immediatly took aliking to them. This version of another level is a little diffrent from the one on the mixtape but thats ok cuz it rox even harder. The production is good, but what makes this album amazing is the lyrics. I would highly recomend it!
