ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Simpson-Mancine Band makes "genre-defiant" music, proudly written and produced in the foothills of Western Maine.

Their first song, "Prison", was released on October 22, 2019 and their latest single "The World as We Know It" will be available for streaming and purchase worldwide on all major music platforms starting on Tuesday, November 26, 2019.

The initial tracks for many of the forthcoming songs were recorded in a studio space in the historic Oddfellows building (former State Theater) in Farmington, Maine.

It was during one of the sessions there in June 2019 that a studio playback of the opening guitar solo of "Prison" (performed on a one-of-a-kind prototype guitar generously provided by Bourgeois Guitars) came to define the level of quality the rest of this project would demand of the band.

Instead of rushing out a demo, their mantra became "SKIP the demo". And instead of rushing to release an album, they decided to forego that concept entirely. This shift in mentality has given them the time to patiently craft each song and attain a level of quality that gives their songs a unique place in the New England soundscape.

Look new releases every month or so through 2020!
