Bending Space Machine
Atmosphere. Thats what this record is about. But certainly not an atmosphere I've ever breathed before. The instruments they mix are new to my ears: djembe, udu, congas, banjo, flute, guitars. The result is African? Indian? South American? i dont think so. Is not one of them. is all of them.
I dont know if they are a machine or not, but I'm sure they have bent my space.
I am eager to listen to the Vinyl.

Music for the soul
If I have to define Sinthaxis music in a single word, I’ll probably choose “Strange”.
But don’t get me wrong; on these days of pre-manufactured music, strange means good. This trio mixes different sounds and rhythms to create a style of its own.

“Bending Space Machine”, Sinthaxis first record, invites you to seat back, relax and enjoy music. In this release particularly stand out “El Rey Adar”, an African rooted beat mixed with Indian flavored strings that makes you want to take off your clothes and dance naked around a bonfire, “Nelson’s Retreat” a melancholic country song with a Nirvanesque touch and “Babble on, Baby” an energetic electro-organic tune with a repetitive rhythm marked by congas, a banjo and a flute.
Didn’t you listen to Sinthaxis yet?
You should.
