Album Notes
The pronunciation of the band’s name is “Shee’–a–kawn” with the emphasis on the first syllable.

The combination of the members’ experience and musical styles creates a group that knows contemporary music but keeps a tight grasp on their Celtic roots. This made Síocháin one of the most versatile and talented bands playing on tour.

Their first CD, “Disturbing The Peace” has sold briskly through CD Baby and iTunes.

“Each of the five band members is enormously talented, individually – but put Nathan, Claudia, Rufus, Bryan and Cory together and you have a Celtic force that, even after two hours, left audience members begging for more.”
Louisville Irish Fest, Louisville, KY

“Thanks for bringing your great music to our listeners from around the world. Let\'s take Celtic Rock & Punk to a whole new level for 2007! Your music is on our 5 hour St. Patrick\'s Day show!”

almost as good as seeing them live...
Sadly, I only "discovered" Siochain shortly before they disbanded. At least I have this great CD to listen to and remember them by.

Terrific Set!
A band with amazing talent puts together another terrific album. There is a great balance of upbeat and slower songs, featuring some of the best tracks that Siochain has to offer.

Very sad that they are no longer together, but this album will help them live on for me!
