ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Sir Mark the Poet is well-known as a poet and spoken word artist in the Pacific Northwest, where he has performed at and hosted hundreds of shows and events. Sir Mark has also written over a dozen poetry books (which can be found on amazon) and has appeared on T.V. and radio.

With his new spoken word album, "The Boy Who Cried Lone Wolf," Sir Mark delivers lyrical, free-flowing spoken word poetry with a positive vibe and tackles diverse topics such as politics (45, High on Koch, Whorehouse of Representatives), corporate greed (Food Fight), mass consumerism (Care For a Smoke, Attack of the Clones), the sacred feminine (Evening in Ombos), social ills that plague modern day society (School Shooter Blues, Lone Wolf), as well as other topics, backed up with music and ambiance created by producer Paul Diamond Blow (who also is well-known in the Pacific Northwest, as a rock musician).

"The Boy Who Cried Lone Wolf" features one of Sir Mark's most famous (or infamous) spoken word pieces — "Lone Wolf" — and also features an electronic dance remix version of "Lone Wolf" by Paul Diamond Blow that is sure to be a hit in the discotheques in 2020 and beyond.

All in all, "The Boy Who Cried Lone Wolf" is 30 minutes of rhythmic poetry, music, beauty, and sheer magic that is entertaining, inspiring, illuminating, and will captivate both the soul and senses.
