Album Notes
We, SIxtus, are delighted at the prospect of you having this CD in your hands, or at least digitally on your computer. Hopefully it’s the best CD "you’ve ever listened to or had." The beauty of A Cappella singing is that both the performers and the audience interact so closely with little in the way. Then why the heck would we record a CD to get in the way? But we all know that a CD allows us to savor that beautiful experience a little longer and that the recording studio gives the opportunity to achieve a richer sound that has long-lasting “listenability.” So after two years together as a group, a week in the studio, and lots of prayer and preparation, we have a nifty little CD for you. We’re pretty sure that you’ve never seen a list of songs quite like this from four seminarians. We definitely hope that it’s an excuse for you to grow both in your love of music and your love of God.
