Album Notes
The Telluride based recording project and band “Skyblue” along with their debut CD entitled “Restore Our World” was submitted for Grammy nomination on Sept 5th for best album of the year in the alternative instrumental music category.

Alan Bradbury, songwriter, producer, and guitarist describes the music as progressive jazz chord arrangements and instrumentation, overlaid upon a bluesy foundation, with New Age melodies and some tasty rock guitar licks added for good measure.

It’s music from the hearts of some very well known and established players, which includes members and former members of Carole King, Dave Matthews, Dan Fogelberg, Airitio, Richie Cole, Dizzy Gillespie, Peter Kater and other headliner bands.

The music is inspiring and uplifting, new and refreshing, and can be enjoyed again and again.

All but four piano tracks (which were recorded in San Francisco) were recorded at Alan’s solar powered studio outside of Telluride, which may explain the music’s warm and positive qualities.

The album cover features beautiful Mt. Wilson with overlays of the instruments used in the actual recording. Be surprised and entertained by this Grammy Nominated CD and one of the Western Slopes greates gatherings of professional recording artists.
