Album Notes
On the streets (of suburbia) they call me Kewl B Murder, where the lawns are professionally manicured and the plasma screens glow without meaning. No matter. For those who care, there is hope in the air. Our nostrils sting with the sweet smell of the burning Bush. There is much good going on in Our World below the radar of mainstream media.
A bigger Love. A bigger Mission. Take a look and take a listen.

Kewl B Murder

"I used to be in a one man band but it broke up. Now I'm in a two man band. One of the members is imaginary... I'm not sure which one."

Skyhead is a multi-instrumentalist who has been recording and performing in the Detroit area in a number of bands and as a solo artist for over 20 years including music in award winning animated films and a contributer to the Talking Heads Tribute CD which can be found at A steady diet of alternative public radio has probably ruined his chances of ever residing in a single style of music or of ever finding a band willing to create music that spans the many genres that interest him.

Skyhead is back and better than ever!
This is probably Skyhead’s most accessible album to date, and I mean that as a compliment. If you’re a music snob who likes his tunes as quirky and unconventional as possible, you may not like this CD as much as other Skyhead projects. For my money – this is the perfect balance of great melodies, intelligent and intriguing lyrics, killer guitar work, cool beats, just the right amount of “Skyhead weirdness”, and amazing production values. This one has it all – in a perfect world, this is the CD that would put Skyhead on the map… so to speak. There are no obvious “sounds-like” comparisons, so go ahead and listen to the samples. This CD has a little something for everyone and it ALL works; the ambient stuff, the lyrical stuff, the rocking stuff and everything else in between. If you’re new to this type of music or new to Skyhead – this is a great place to start. Is it a masterpiece? "Maybe", he said. Is it Skyhead at his best? "Maybe", he said. Are there songs that will make you think, dance, relax, laugh, and rock-out? "Most definitely", he said.

Extreme creativity and perfect mix
Extreme creativity and perfect mix give many of the tracks a 3-D feel. Some amazing guitar work, but you need to listen closely, as it is just one part of the larger soundscape. This disc again justifies that Sky really deserves a larger following...

AKA Bruford

The music has matured, and Kewl B has found his voice.
Having followed Skyhead and Kewl B throughout his career and various manifestations, I was struck by the maturity of the music here. The arrangements are taut, and the music is joyous. No one has ever doubted the passion or talent that Kewl B has brought to his art, but it seems that he has found his voice. Every piece is a rich instrumental experience in modern rhythm and complex simplicity. "Maybe, He Said" is haunting, and "Kewl B's Theme" truly is. We would all benefit by more Kewl B's in our world. But, for now, we'll just have to celebrate the arrival of Untitled (Nude Tilt).

Funky, chunky guitar monkey.
Favorite cut is Boomrocket Butterfly, with the wall o' sound, Yeslike chord progression in the refrain. Great work. Keep it coming.

This album is unique in style with lots of repetitive grooves. Fun to cruise around town with.

Well I NEVER...
...heard such good music before! Our Rise And Fall stands out the most. Kewl B's Theme is a really good jam and Boomrocket Butterfly is quite pleasing. I think those stand out the most to me, but it's all growing on me as I listen to it more.

Skyhead Comes Through Again!
Skyhead continues to come up with the groovy guitar based jams he's known for. This collection doesn't dissappoint!
As always, Skyhead pulls the listener in with an infectious rhythmn and then layers on some raucous guitars and hip keyboards. I like the direction he's going. Favorites so far are Kewl B's Theme, Our Rise...and Nude Tilt (Untitled). As an extra bonus we get a pretty kewl take on Brian Eno's Baby's On Fire. I'm already anticipating the next recording from Skyhead! How about Untitled (Lint Duet) as the next one? This is a buy now recommendation.
