Quick an' Dirty

by The Slow Boys

Here's some swingin' bluesy garage rock that The Seattle Times says "...this is a band that clicks from the word go...David Hillman's voice has enough grit to make you squint, especially following Bobby Taylor's heady harmonica...We think it'll please..."

Album Notes
This 4 piece from Seattle led by vocalist/guitarist David Hillman start their recording off with a one-chord blues stomp and 7 songs later end it with a keyless, King Crimson-esque jazz jam. In betweeen they tear it up on songs about bank robbers, haunted intersections, and love gone tragic. They even take a swipe at the old jazz standard Autumn Leaves. Swing baby swing! It's blues and jazz and rock all twisted around each other and snaking out of the garage.

This record smokes!
I have been a fan of David Hillman's music for some time now. This little record is a gem worth adding to your collection. It's fun and rocks with plenty of blues based fire. It is in regular rotation at my house and at work.

I have been lucky enough to listen to David's new record recently and there are more than a few of us in Seattle excited about the new release. Pick up Quick 'an Dirty now to hold you over until the solo record comes out in January!
