Album Notes
We are SLOW CHILDREN named because of the millions of people who would rather sit in front of their T.Vs ignorant to the problems of the outside world instead of getting up off their couches and doing something about them. We have been playing music for almost eight years without any help from record companies. Every show we have ever played was totally D.I.Y we have traveled over eight thousand miles on tour, spanning the entire west coast from our home in Riverside CA, to the Morgue in W.A, over to the Wasteland in TX and a lot more in between. We have sacrificed hundreds of dollars, jobs, and homes to play music for people all over America for nothing more than the joy of playing. We do not believe in classification, segregation, destruction, division, labels, and most importantly the way that this government is controlling our lives and forcing decisions down our thoughts, without regard to individuality, or personal opinion. We only have one life to live and every day people waist more time in the office, in overcrowded class rooms, on the job site, or in traffic, spending time that they will never get back on things they hate, for a pay check that is grossly over taxed. We are a nonprofit organization in the purist form we do not want money, we do not want financial support, playing music with the bands we grew up listening to (like, leftover crack, the UK subs, the Adicts, Agent orange, and many more) is more than worth the work we put in.
