"Life's Highway" Is A Breath Of Fresh Air
"Life's Highway", from singer/musician Steve Lyons, is a gem that everyone can enjoy. With its well-turned phrases, smooth vocals and excellent musicianship, this album is a treasure trove of great talent. I was reminded of the styles of several artists, including Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan and Michael Nesmith, to name a few. The songs run the gamut of emotions, from melancholy to ecstasy, without being maudlin or saccharine by virtue of the honesty with which they are sung.
I heartily recommend this album to all who seek a breath of fresh air from the stale offerings of corporate
music mills.
