ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Stephanie Marshall continues to grow as an artist. Her lastest CD "Silk and Steel" is a testament to that. Her music is still has the blend of memorable melodies, strong lyrics that are coupled with a beautiful voice to bring it all together. With “Silk and Steel”, Stephanie has taken this latest project to a new level. Now accompanied by a full band, her voice rings more true than ever. She has broadened her range of styles, moving somewhat away from the contemporary folk style of her previous release, to what can only be described as “folk n’ rock n’ country.

“Silk and Steel” has something for everyone and is definitely no hollow effort. On the disc Stephanie showcases her talent as a singer-songwriter. The music is tight, melodic and lyrically compelling. It’s a solid listen all the way through.

Good sound and quality mix.
Nice Country feel about the CD. Easy listening, good music with which to start the day. Songs have their own sound, so as not to get confused with other artists.

New direction for a big talent!
I met Stepanhie a few years back at a party for reknown singer songwriter Dirk Hamilton when he played in Greenfield, MA. At the time she was heading to Nashville to record this album. The result is wonderful. She has taken a new direction and I like it. Very nice production and heartfelt well crafted songs! Buy this CD and enjoy! See ya at the top of the topper most kiddo!

Great CD!
I've been waiting for this new CD for sometime now and it's well worth the wait. This CD is different from her first in that it's bigger, rounder but still has that Stephanie sound. Like Reality, I think this one's a keeper!
