ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
SMITZ is a local Ska/Punk group from the island of Oahu. They started recording this album in 2006 when it was originally titled"Burning In". The group was filled with plenty of spirit and plenty of songs, but as time went on recording the project they progressed musically and before they knew it it was 2008 and the album sounded off putting to them. So SMITZ came to the realization that they needed to re-record "Burning In" and really accent how much the group had improved since the beginning of the process. So was born "Cretin Crossover" with better vocals, guitar, bass, and drums. The group set out for the next 4 years to make the best album in their power to create. And finally it was released on August 6th, 2012. The album features a variation of different styles of music, such as Punk, Ska, Reggae and Surf.
