Terrific! Get this CD!
The flute is inspiring - melodies that test the old standards without forgetting them. There is something for everyone in this album - older more "mature" jazz melodies mixed in with some modern - "younger" twists! This is a must for your playlist!

Innovative and exciting new music
The music on this CD takes Venezuelan traditional music and straight-ahead jazz and (believe it or not) combines them both to create something new and different. The music is lively and melodic, but with strong rhythmic underpinnings that hark directly back to Afro-Venezuelan roots. The recording quality is excellent giving each instrument plenty of room in the mix yet still having a wide, full sound. The band is great live, too!
