So okay, here we go people. Hardcore heads, this is for you. I Didn't Quit My Day Job is Snuff's first solo album. Before going head on into the new No Particulars project, he decided to record some back logged material and some new material, and you get D.D.N. produced by Yarbrough for instance. Matt Strange produces the entire album minus two songs, thus making I Didn't Quit My Day Job a No Particulars sidebar. D.J. Phingaprint helps with the one's and two's, and Flip produces The Right Lines with additional vocals by D.L. the Professor. (No Particulars) There's no particular theme with the album, and topics range from needles, alarm clocks, conventional formats, to having affairs to cure writer's block. Consider it quirky underground boom bap. Snuff stays betwix the kicks in the middle of space. (space is the place between those drums) Hooks take on the role of thesis statements and rhyme structure can be unconventional at times, and doesn't always follow a sixteen bar format. Production perpetuates this unapologetic delivery with hardcore bass lines and drum kicks. This is something different. If you're into listening off the beaten path, peep this album. If you don't peep the record, Snuff is still going to have to bartend. (get the record) This Means You.
