Album Notes
Soapbox Soldier was formed in the summer of 2005. Ryan and Joel took this project underway and started writing a lot of material. They wrote about fifteen songs to be exact. The goal in this band was to create energetic, driving, and powerful rock music that was their own, but with a modern edge. After Ryan recorded some drum, bass, and guitar tracks, he and Joel set out to find other members to fill the shoes of a bass player, and a drummer.

As of May 2006, they finished recording their debut album "My Dear, Where Do We Begin". It was recorded/edited by Paul Leavitt (Cute Is What We Aim For, All Time Low) and mastered by Michael Fossenkemper (Copeland, The Get Up Kids, Santana). Its full of energetic, fast, heart-filled songs that create instant Soapbox enthusiasts. You'll be singing along to the infectious melodies. So stay tuned to their myspace and come see them throwdown in your area.

I wish you guys would come to BOSTON!
Got the CD from a friend. Well,..i hate it because i can't stop singing the song "blind". WTF! It like haunts me, but in a good way. Oh, and come to Boston! I do not wanna take the hike to Baltimore.

passionate, sincere, catchy and second-to-none musical quality
i was impatiently waiting for the release of this album because i fell in love with what i heard at live shows and on their myspace ( page. the musical talent displayed on this album is incredible, with everything from creative intros/outros, skillful guitar riffs, and of course the straight-from-the-heart lyrics and vocals. when listening to this album, i can honestly tell that these boys WANT to be making this music together, for the sole purpose of making it and hoping others will enjoy. that's how you get an awesome product such as this. keep it up, boys.

I liked the CD, in general. My only issue with the CD is the lack of newer songs. But, this is their very first major album so they had to add in the classics that have brought them to their local stardom. Favorite Song = The Ins and Outs.

Wow! You guys are fu%king awesome
Just want to say that this disc has been in my player non-stop. Great driving music. Can't wait to hear more.

Real F*#^in Rock!
This cd rocks. Heard about them a while back on 98 Rock. I also love The Worst Excuse, but Porkchop Sandwich is a fave too. Can't take it out of my car.
