Album Notes
Check out my first album here:

My name is Dan Hopkins and I am writer and producer of Sonar Eclipse. I am excited to finally finish the second album “Trance Fusion”. It has taken me longer than I expected to finish it and I hope you will enjoy it.

I chose the name “Trance Fusion” for the album because of the meanings behind the play on words. The basic concept of the music in this album (which stem somewhat from my first album “Trance Cryption”) is Trance, music that can be enjoyed in the forefront or in the background. The second theme of the album is in the word Fusion, which is to say a union as well as the music style of fusion that is flirted with through the different tracks. Put the words together and you get the play on words with transfusion, which mostly brings to mind a movement of the blood. This music will get your blood movin!

The first album had a lot of different themes in it, and while this album keeps the variety alive, at the same time I have picked more of a reoccurring theme, one of an electro-techno funk theme.

Give the tracks a spin and let it groove!

Toe tappin' Trance Goodness
I received an advance release of this album and played it on my weekly internet radio show. The feedback from the listeners was very positive. I have to admit, at first, I listened to it once then set it down for a while and didn't really know what to do with it. A few weeks later I popped the CD back in the car CD player and really tuned it up. There is a lot going on here. This album slowly reels you into layer upon layer of well balanced, well engineered instrumentation, musicality and top notch production. Though some sections of a few songs were a little 'too thick' for my tastes, the overall effect of each piece is excellent in its delivery, solid in its production and like some trance music this will not put you to sleep. It does however give your mind something to chew on weather you're actively listening or playing it in the background.
Bottom line: I'd buy it, I've play it for my friends, I played on a radio show and I've got a few tracks on my iPod.
