ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Songs for Anna is named after Anna Guest, a student of stage school NiStars, who two days before Christmas 2014 was diagnosed with a brain tumour. With her future uncertain, Ande Gray, owner of NiStars came up with the Songs For Anna project to help get Anna, and her friends, through this time by giving them something positive to concentrate on.

Enlisting the help of several Northern Irish based singers and personalities, as well as songwriter Paddy McBride, and then enlisting the help of the fantastic Cormac O'Kane at Redox Recording Studio, Songs for Anna became a real team effort, with everyone pulling together to help out with this great cause.

The artwork for the CD was designed by fellow NiStars pupil, and another original, Rachel McCourt, with artwork put together by Rachel’s mother Gillian.
