Album Notes
Solomon said; "To everything there is a season and a time". Soon, when days of mourning end, all the earth shall praise the Lord. This album was recorded a year before Christ's Olivet prophecies began to be fulfilled! Full lyrics come with the physical album or are available free from her web-site.

Listeners over the years have consistently reported that Sonia’s music soothes and gentles, as well as stirs them. There is a quality in her voice which comforts – through which God holds us safe in His arms.

Album by album her song-writing just gets better and better – and it was good to start with! Her sweeping, rhythmic melodies engage you, along with her ability to come up with a poetic phrase which exactly captures the heart of significant Bible passages. Opening our eyes afresh and increasing our love for these and God.

A wonderful example of all this is ‘The Gift of Life’ where Jesus reveals what's on His heart to His disciples at the Last Supper (Jn 14-17).

All the songs are so good and overall there’s a real sense of joy and praise. Starting with ‘Praise The Lord, All The Earth’ (Ps. 148-150) and ending with ‘Mountain Majesty’ (“on high flies the eagle, with his majesty”).

Wanting to involve other singers, she gathered together former ‘Young Ambassador’ singer Alice Berendt and a few members of her Church in Edmonton, to comprise a supporting “choir of sound” in the song ‘The One Whom We Love’.

In the classical-style ‘Who Has Known the Mind of God?’ (Job 38-39), Sonia’s pure, warm tones and her sensitive guitar-playing are joined by accomplished violinist, Jerry Ozipko.

You’ll love the delightful rhythmic lilt of “Solomon was not arrayed like these, God clothes the grass, how much more you”, in ‘A Lullaby of Love’ (Mt 6:25-33), which encourages us to trust God, because He loves us.

Fans’ comments: “Your style itself is your own and very expressive. There is much heartbreaking beauty in this...". “How versatile your voice was, and in the many different styles you are able to write and sing in, but the words of the songs were also clearly inspired by God. God is using you to minister to people through the medium of songs … . I was challenged to look up certain scriptures … and learned something from that”.

Recorded in April-May 1991, at 'Woodbend Music' studio, Edmonton, Canada, this third album’s journey began with composer, band/choir leader and drummer, Robert Bertuzzi’s encouragement. It involved stepping out in faith, including leaving her job and selling her house.
