ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Just coming after the release of E-Z Az 123, the Sonic Sugar band floors you with some new aural excitement. The new EP, SEND IN THE LOVE, will give you a much needed adventure through a really unique musical terrain. Three songs, but oh so cleverly done they are. Chris Baumgart says, "We couldn't keep these in the drawer any longer. Music is meant to be shared. So we decided to get these out to our fans now. Two of my son's wanted to get involved so Jim and I brought them on board in their creative strengths. I think it shines through. We're all excited."

Jake Baumgart on lead guitar and Ben Baumgart on synth. Both contributed in unique ways. Sonic Sugar was also blessed with another talent to mix the tracking. J. Christopher Hughes, from St. Louis, was in the neighborhood when he gave the band a jingle and said he'd love a chance to mix the songs. Hughes, having worked with top industry names and several indie record labels was a welcome addition to this album. Jim Fonk adds, "That this time around we went in on a new creative angle focusing on giving a little more depth to the synths. You have so many options. But when the right sound hits, we would look up and we'd all have these big happy grins on our faces... cool stuff!"
