Album Notes
This CD is a new style for SoundShaman, with gospel, indigenous fusion and blues. The idea came after reading Rumi's "Song of the Reed", beginning with a gospel piece "Show Me The Way". Next is the primordeal soup of "Antediluvian", followed by a progression of "Awakening", "Chachapoyas" (the people the Aztecs referred to on Machu Pichu - the Cloud People). Next is "Dance of the Spring" which was inspired by the recording of a small spring Richard came across while hiking in the Missouri Ozarks, "Pahayokee Blues" with background sounds from the Everglades and ending with "The Blue Road" - a slow blues piece.

Special thanks goes to Marvin Taylor of FiveFeathers Music for the licensing of groove tracks on "Show Me The Way", the last half of "Pahayokee Blues" and "The Blue Road". Visit Marvin at FiveFeathers.com.

When spirit, sound, and soul come together the end result in undeniable. Richard brings all these qualities to his music and his healing that set him apart from others and elevate his music to the category of sacred.
I have also known Richard personally and am proud to be in that company.
If you are looking to be moved, look no further.
