ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
SOQ Project is the fresh and daring vision of a new tropical sound; a sound infused with passionate harmonies, contagious melodies and the addictive synergy of afro-Dominican rhythms with the Big Band sound reminiscent of the tropical orchestras of the 1970’s. For their first album as SOQ Project, Gian-Carla Tisera (Bolivia) and Arturo Peña (Dominican Republic) produce original, energy defying dance songs in the genres of Salsa, Merengue and Bachata. For the recording they brought together the talents of more than 25 Caribbean and Latin-American musicians and singers based in New York City, Dominican Republic and Bolivia.
