Album Notes
Heart Felt album is a collection of songs written by Angela Maja Michel performed by Voice & Percussion group Soundsphere. There is an amazing story behind the creation of the album. Angela Maja Michel passed away having lost here battle with cancer in November 2013. In the final days of her illness Angela shared with her fellow Soundsphere members, Paula Ryan, Sarah Dean and Judith Simpson some solo unaccompanied voice recordings of songs that she'd written. It seems Angela went in and did these recordings just "to get them down" sometime around January 2013. Following Angela's passing, Judith, Paula and Sarah worked with those solo voice recordings of Angela's, adding harmonies, percussion and arranged the songs in true Soundsphere style. The result is the "Heart Felt" album. All proceeds from the Album will go to Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) a charity which was very close to Angela's heart. In fact in 2012 in the year before she died Angela and her husband Nick Warlow did a fundraising walk from York to Rome raising over £10,000 for Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders).
