Album Notes
Soup Bone is an Indie band from Florida. They're influenced by bands like The Band, The Rolling Stones, Little Feat, and the Meters, and also have a strong Country Blues influence...The band consists of George Harris on Guitar(also Produced and Engineered), Kyle Rohde (Vocals), Rob Stoney (Piano/Organ), Marc Dupuy(Drums) and Vince Caruso on Bass..In addition there are some other great musicians playing on the CD. Our good friend Manny Yanes(Robert Palmer, Patti LaBelle, Neville Bros.) played Bass on 4 of the tracks. Ross Rice(human Radio) played Rhoads, Organ, and Piano on 7 tracks along with Rob Stoney... Mark Radice(Aerosmith) played Piano on 1 track.. The songs are all original except for track #9, which is our rendition of the Nick Lowe song, "What's So Funny About (Peace, Love and Understanding). Soup Bone's songs span different genres from NOLA Funk, to Country Gospel, Blues and Rock... The songs subjects are about the human condition. Relationship songs and fun, tongue in cheek songs about living life and trying to make a living.

These ares some of the greatest songs I've heard in a long time. The lyrics, music and vocals are believable. The best $10.00 anyone could spend.
